ABOUT US

We are a friendly local firm that was established in 1968. Originally as a partnership, with Mr Dave Stone and Mr Alan Sedgbeer, Stone and Sedgbeer has become a well known reliable name.

Alan Sedgbeer retired early in 1990, and the company is now run solely by Dave Stone. The business has since continued to blossom, and now has a strong local workforce of well trained employees.

As well as residential installations/upgrades/repairs, we also undertake contract work. In recent years we have been an approved contractor working for Mid Devon District Council, Teigh Housing and Exeter City Council as part of the Governments Decent Home strategy, updating the housing stock with heating installations.

HEALTH & SAFETY INFORMATION

We currently appoint SSG to assist us with our Healthy & Safety issues. We can provide upon request copies of our Health & Safety Policy, method statements, and site specific risk assessments including C.OS.H.H.

We have a combined employers & Public Liability Insurance: £10,000,000 employers Liability and £5,000,000 public Liability. A copy of this policy schedule can be provided upon request.
